Abstract
The invention aims at providing novel sulfur compounds, molecular compounds containing the same as the component compound, and so on. The above aim is achieved by using sulfur compounds of the general formula (I) wherein Rs are each independently hydrogen, optionally substituted C1-6 alkyl, optionally substituted C2-6 alkenyl, optionally substituted aryl, chloro, or bromo; m is an integer of 0, 1, or 2; and Z is a group represented by any of the general formulae (II) to (V) (wherein R and m are each as defined above; W is hydrogen or C1-6 alkyl; and Y is a direct bond, C1-3 alkylene, or phenylene). 1

A sulfur-containing compound represented by formula (I)
- 25
- wherein R each independently represents a hydrogen atom, a C1 to C6 alkyl group which may have substituents, a C2 to C6 alkenyl group which may have substituents, an aryl group which may have substituents, a chlorine atom or a bromine atom;
- m represents an integer of 0, 1 or 2;
- and Z represents the following formulae (II) through (V):
- 26
- wherein R and m represent the same as defined in the above;
- W represents a hydrogen atom or a C1 to C6 alkyl group which may have substituents;
- and Y represents a direct bond, an alkylene group having 1 to 3 carbons or a phenylene group.
A sulfur-containing compound represented by formula (VI):
- 27
- wherein R′ each independently represents a hydrogen atom, a C1 to C6 alkyl group which may have substituents, a C2 to C6 alkenyl group which may have substituents, or an aryl group which may have substituents;
- Z is the same as defined in the above;
- in the formulae (II) through (V) represented by Z, W, Y and n are the same as defined in the above, R represents R′, and m represents 0.
A sulfur-containing compound represented by formula (VII):
- 28
- wherein Z is the same as defined in the above;
- in the formulae (II) through (V) represented by Z, W, Y and n are the same as defined in the above, R represents a chlorine atom, and m represents 2.
A sulfur-containing compound represented by formula (VIII):
