Abstract
The invention concerns disaccharides of formula (I) derived from α-maltosyl fluoride, wherein R1 and R 2 are such as defined in Claim 1. Said disaccharides are useful as glycosyl donors in transglycosylation reactions catalysed by glycoside-hydrolases or in transfer reactions catalysed by transglycosylases during the preparation of oligosaccharides or polysaccharides.
Claims24
A disaccharide of formula I:
- 33
- derived from α-maltosyl fluoride, wherein:
- R1 and R2, which are identical or different, represent a functional organic group, optionally protected, attached to the glycoside unit via a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or a halogen atom, or else
- R1 and R2 together form a functional organic group, optionally protected, attached to the glycoside unit via two atoms selected from oxygen, sulfur and nitrogen atoms,
- it being understood that R1 does not represent a hydroxyl group.
