Abstract
This invention pertains to methods of treating Pin1 associated disorders through the administration of inhibitors of the Pin1 isomerase activity.
Claims11
A method of treating a Pin1 associated disorder in a subject comprising,
- administering to a subject an effective amount of an inhibitor of Pin1 activity having any one or more of the following moieties:
- A-B-C-D-E
- wherein A is a hydrophobic pocket interacting moiety;
- wherein B is a cysteine/serine valley interacting moiety;
- wherein C is a phosphate pocket interacting moiety;
- wherein D is a substrate-entry groove interacting moiety;
- and
- wherein E is a lip region interacting moiety;
- such that said Pin1 disorder is treated.
