Claims9
A thickened aqueous composition comprising a xanthan gum having an acetate content of less than 6.2% wt of the gum but greater than 0.1% wt, and an oxidising agent dissolved into the aqueous composition.
A thickened aqueous composition as claimed in any claim from 1 to 4 wherein the xanthan gum is present at up to 7.5% wt.
A thickened aqueous composition as claimed in claim 6 wherein the water-soluble bleach is present at between 0.1 to 15% wt.
A thickened aqueous composition as claimed in preceding claim which additionally comprises a surfactant.
A thickened aqueous composition as claimed in preceding claim which contains less than 5% wt, ideally less than 2% wt of a water-miscible organic solvent.
A method of removing stains from a fabric which method comprises contacting the fabric with a wash liquor which comprises a thickened aqueous composition as defined in any claim from 1 to 8.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
