A method of treatment for promoting healing or prevention of blisters, sores or skin degeneration associated with Epidermolysis Bullosa comprising administering to a subject in need of such treatment an effective amount of a composition comprising an agent that stimulates production of an Epidermolysis Bullosa-inhibiting polypeptide comprising amino acid sequence LKKTET, or a conservative variant thereof having Epidermolysis Bullosa-inhibiting activity.
A composition for use in promoting healing or prevention of blisters, sores or skin degeneration associated with Epidermolysis Bullosa comprising an effective amount of a composition including an Epidermolysis Bullosa-inhibiting polypeptide comprising amino acid sequence LKKTET or a conservative variant thereof having Epidermolysis Bullosa-inhibiting activity.
