Abstract
A product retention package is disclosed, wherein the package is configured to form a sealed internal cavity for receiving a product, particularly transdermal delivery systems, patches, bandages, films, sheets, and the like. A retention means is formed in association with the cavity to maintain the position of the product distal to a predetermined opening location. By controlling the position of the product within its packaging, the user can more easily and safely open the package at its predetermined opening location without damaging the product.
Claims1
A product retention package comprising:
- at least one layer of a product packaging material being sealed to form an internal cavity for receiving a product;
- at least one retention means positioned in a predetermined position relative to the cavity;
- wherein
- the at least one retention means restricts movement of the product across a predetermined location within the cavity to maintain the position of the product positioned in the cavity distal from the predetermined location for opening the product package.
