Abstract
An organic electroluminescent device comprising: a pair of electrodes; and at least one organic compound layer between the pair of electrodes, the at least one organic compound layer including a light emitting layer, wherein the light emitting layer contains a phosphorescent material and a compound represented by the formula (I) as defined herein.
Claims15
An organic electroluminescent device comprising:
- a pair of electrodes;
- and
- at least one organic compound layer between the pair of electrodes, the at least one organic compound layer including a light emitting layer,
- wherein the light emitting layer contains a phosphorescent material and a compound represented by the formula (I):
- 13
- wherein X11, X12, and X13 each independently represent a carbon atom, a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom;
- Y1 represents a carbon atom, a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or a phosphorus atom;
- Z1 represents a nitrogen atom, an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or a phosphorus atom;
- M1 represents a metal ion;
- L1 represents a ligand;
- n1 represents an integer of 1 or greater;
- m1 represents an integer of 0 or greater;
- and the bonds between every adjacent atoms is selected from a single bond, a double bond, a triple bond, and a coordinate bond;
- with proviso that a compound in which either one of Y1 and Z1 is a nitrogen atom and the other is an oxygen atom is excluded.
