Abstract

The invention is a method for performing a procedure on an eye having an iris. An iris biometric image representative of the iris is obtained and the procedure is performed on an eye according to the iris biometric image. First and second iris biometric images can be obtained and the first and second iris biometric images can be compared to provide a biometric comparison result. An eye can be identified according to the biometric comparison result.

Dependent claims

A method for performing a procedure on an eye having an iris, comprising the steps of:

(a) obtaining an iris biometric image representative of said iris;
and
(b) performing said procedure on an eye in accordance with said iris biometric image.
