Abstract
A field device suitable for installation in an industrial environment comprises means for connection to a Fieldbus network and information-display means. The information-display means comprise: physical-display means; means for logical connection of the device to information available on the Fieldbus network; and logic means for choice and display on said physical means of one or more items of information.
Claims20
A field device for industrial environments comprising means for connection to a Fieldbus network and information-display means, wherein said information-display means comprise:
- physical-display means;
- means for logical connection of the device to items of information available on the Fieldbus network;
- and logic means for choice and display of one or more of said items of information on said physical means.
The device according to the preceding claim, wherein in that said inputs of said multiple-input Function Block can be connected logically to information available on the Fieldbus network during the stage of configuration of the control system.
