Abstract
In an implementation, a first MPEG video stream is selected from a broadcast channel and the MPEG video stream is decoded to generate a first image for display. A second MPEG video stream is selected from the broadcast channel and decoded to generate a second image for display such that the second image is combined for display with at least a section of the first image.
Claims86
A client device, comprising:
- a transport demultiplexer configured to select a first MPEG video stream from a broadcast channel and further configured to select a second MPEG video stream from the broadcast channel;
- and
- a decoder configured to decode the first MPEG video stream to generate a first image for display and decode the second MPEG video stream to generate a second image for display such that the second image is combined for display with at least a section of the first image.
A method, comprising:
- decoding a first MPEG video stream to generate a first image for display;
- selecting a second MPEG video stream;
- compositing the second MPEG video stream with the first MPEG video stream;
- and
- decoding the second MPEG video stream to generate a second image for display such that the second image is combined for display with at least a section of the first image.
One or more computer-readable media comprising computer-executable instructions that, when executed, direct a client device to:
- generate a first image for display from MPEG data received in a first MPEG video stream;
- composite the first MPEG video stream with a second MPEG video stream;
- and
- generate a second image for display from additional MPEG data received in the second MPEG video stream such that the second image is combined for display with at least a section of the first image.
A method, comprising:
- to generating MPEG data corresponding to one or more Web pages;
- and
- decoding an MPEG video stream of the MPEG data to reproduce a Web page for display.
One or more computer-readable media comprising computer-executable instructions that, when executed, direct a client device to:
- generate MPEG data corresponding to one or more Web pages;
- and
- decode an MPEG video stream of the MPEG data to reproduce a Web page for display.
A system, comprising:
- an application program configured to receive MPEG data that includes I-frames and P-frames corresponding to a video, and further configured to generate an MPEG video stream that includes the P-frames and independent PI-frames corresponding to the video, the independent PI-frames being generated from at least one of the I-frames and the P-frames included in the MPEG data;
- and
- a decoder configured to decode the MPEG video stream to generate the video for display.
A method, comprising:
- receiving MPEG data that includes I-frames and P-frames corresponding to a video;
- generating independent PI-frames from the MPEG data;
- and
- generating an MPEG video stream that includes the P-frames and independent PI-frames corresponding to the video.
