Isolation chamber

An isolation chamber for providing containment of a contaminated patient, the isolation chamber comprising:

• a flexible enclosure configurable to receive a contaminated patient therein, the enclosure including:
• a base;
• a first end;
• a second end;
• and
• a lid that is hingedly pivotable about the base;
• a plurality of spaced-apart ribs attached to the lid, the ribs being configured to maintain the lid vertically spaced apart from a patient received in the flexible closure;
• at least one first port defined in the first end;
• a second port defined in the second end;
• and
• a closure configured to releasably close the lid along edges of the base and the first and second ends.

An isolation chamber for providing containment of a contaminated patient, the isolation chamber comprising:

• a flexible enclosure configurable to receive a contaminated patient therein, the enclosure including:
• a base;
• a first end;
• a second end;
• and
• a lid that is hingedly pivotable about the base;
• a plurality of spaced-apart ribs attached to the lid, the ribs being configured to maintain the lid vertically spaced apart from a patient received in the flexible closure;
• a plurality of first ports defined within the lid such that a rib is interposed between adjacent first ports;
• at least one second port defined in the first end;
• a third port defined in the second end, the third port being configured to be attached to a vacuum;
• and
• a closure configured to releasably close the lid along edges of the base and the first and second ends.
