Claims22
A conjugate of a peptide capable of translocation across a cell membrane, and a therapeutic or diagnostic agent, wherein the peptide comprises the amino acid sequence KKX1X2K, where X1=A or P and X2═K or R.
A conjugate according to any preceding claim, wherein the peptide comprises at least 20 amino acids.
A conjugate according to any preceding claim, wherein the peptide is a histone, or a fragment thereof.
A conjugate according to any preceding claim, wherein the peptide is human histone H1, or a fragment thereof.
A conjugate according to any preceding claim, wherein the peptide comprises or consists of any of the histone fragments identified herein as SEQ ID NOS. 2 to 9.
A conjugate according to any preceding claim, wherein the peptide is a recombinant peptide.
