The present invention relates to the use of a pparα agonist to treat patients suffering from weight gain associated with a pparγ agonist treatment.
Claims15
A method of decreasing the body weight gain associated with a PPARγ agonist treatment, comprising co-administering an effective dosage of a PPARα agonist and a PPARγ agonist.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising a PPARα agonist, a PPARγ agonist and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, wherein the effective dosage of the PPARγ agonist is in the range of about 0.5 to about 3 mg per day.
