Service-provision sequence-changing method, device, and computer product

A device for altering sequence in which a service is provided, comprising:

• service-request acceptance means for sequentially accepting service requests each being a request for receiving a predetermined service, and designation of priority levels for receiving said service on a priority basis;
• first storing means for storing one or more wait queues each containing a plurality of wait records that each include a priority level, an identifier for a service requester being someone who makes said service request, and the sequential order in which said service request has been accepted;
• sequence-alteration means for altering, according to said priority levels and to points that each said service requester has, the sequential order of said wait records;
• and
• updating means for updating the points for those service requesters whose sequential order has been altered.

A service-provision sequence-altering computer product for causing a computer to function as:

• service-request acceptance means for sequentially accepting service requests each being a request for receiving a predetermined service, and designation of priority levels for receiving said service on a priority basis;
• first storing means for storing one or more wait queues each containing a plurality of wait records that each include a priority level, an identifier for a service requester being someone who makes said service request, and the sequential order in which said service request has been accepted;
• sequence-alteration means for altering, according to said priority levels and to points that each said service requester has, the sequential order of said wait records;
• and
• updating means for updating the points for those service requesters whose sequential order has been altered.
