Use of a nerve growth factor (NGF) antagonist for the manufacture of a medicament intended for the prevention or treatment of chronic visceral pain.
Pharmaceutical composition for the prevention or treatment of chronic visceral pain, characterized in that it comprises a pharmaceutically effective quantity of a nerve growth factor (NGF) antagonizing compound, in combination with one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients.
Method for the prevention or treatment of chronic visceral pain which comprises administering to a patient in need thereof a pharmaceutically effective quantity of a nerve growth factor antagonist.
