Abstract
The invention relates to a rod linkage for horizontal earth drilling which is characterized in that the ends of the rod segments can be interconnected by displacing the rod segment axes in parallel.
Claims21
Rod linkage with locking means for rod segments (1, 2) with a medium channel for a horizontal earth drilling, wherein the rod segments can be interconnected by fitting them together, characterised in that the ends are such designed, that they can be put together at an angle <180° by parallel displacement of the rod segment planes until alignment, whereby the medium channel traverses the locking means (5).
Rod linkage according to any of the proceeding claims, characterised by a medium channel (14), which emerges from the rod axis vector at least in the area of the rod segment ends (1, 2) in an angle α.
Method for connecting rod segments of a drill rod assembly, whereby said rod segments can be interconnected by fitting them together, characterised in that the ends of the rod segments (1, 2) can be fitted together by parallel displacement of the rod segment axes.
Method for connecting rod segments of a drill rod assembly, characterised in that the ends of the rod segments (1, 2) are aligned on the axis of a medium channel exit and put together, whereby this axis in the rod end portion is not coaxial to the rod axis.
Rod linkage for rod segments (1, 2) for a horizontal earth drilling, whereby said rod segments can be interconnected by fitting them together, characterised in that the ends are designed such, that the fitting can be accomplished by parallel displacement of the rod segment axes.
Method for connecting rod segments of a drill rod assembly characterised in that the ends of the rod segment axes are aligned on the medium channel exit axis and fitted together, whereby this axis in the end portion is not coaxial to the rod axis and whereby the rod segments (1, 2) are rotated around the medium channel exit axis in the rod axis plane in order to achieve locking.
