Abstract
Communicating medical information includes receiving first data from a first device and receiving second data from a second device using a graphical user interface. The first data and the second data describe medical information associated with a patient at a first station. Data packets that include the first data and the second data are generated and communicated to a second station in real time.
Claims26
A method for communicating medical information, comprising:
- receiving first data from a first device using a graphical user interface, the first data comprising first medical information associated with a patient at a first station;
- receiving second data from a second device using the graphical user interface, the second data comprising second medical information associated with the patient;
- generating a plurality of data packets comprising the first data and the second data;
- and
- communicating the plurality of data packets to a second station in real time, the first station substantially remote from the second station.
A system for communicating medical information, comprising:
- an interface operable to:
- receive first data from a first device using a graphical user interface, the first data comprising first medical information associated with a patient at a first station;
- and
- receive second data from a second device using the graphical user interface, the second data comprising second medical information associated with the patient;
- and
- a processor coupled to the interface and operable to:
- generate a plurality of data packets comprising the first data and the second data;
- and
- communicate the plurality of data packets to a second station in real time, the first station substantially remote from the second station.
Logic for communicating medical information, the logic embodied in a medium and operable to:
- receive first data from a first device using a graphical user interface, the first data comprising first medical information associated with a patient at a first station;
- receive second data from a second device using the graphical user interface, the second data comprising second medical information associated with the patient;
- generate a plurality of data packets comprising the first data and the second data;
- and
- communicate the plurality of data packets to a second station in real time, the first station substantially remote from the second station.
A system for communicating medical information, comprising:
- means for receiving first data from a first device using a graphical user interface, the first data comprising first medical information associated with a patient at a first station;
- means for receiving second data from a second device using the graphical user interface, the second data comprising second medical information associated with the patient;
- means for generating a plurality of data packets comprising the first data and the second data;
- and
- means for communicating the plurality of data packets to a second station in real time, the first station substantially remote from the second station.
A method for communicating medical information, comprising:
- receiving first data from a first device using a graphical user interface, the first data comprising first medical information associated with a patient at a first station, the first data received by:
- receiving medical data associated with the patient from a medical device operable to gather the medical data;
- and
- receiving an identifier identifying the patient from an identification device operable to receive the identifier;
- receiving second data from a second device using the graphical user interface, the second data comprising second medical information associated with the patient, the second data received by receiving audio-visual data associated with the patient from an audio-visual device operable to gather the audio-visual data;
- generating a plurality of data packets comprising the first data and the second data;
- communicating the plurality of data packets to a second station in real time, the first station substantially remote from the second station;
- receiving navigational information using the graphical user interface, the navigational information associated with the patient, and displaying the navigational information using the graphical user interface;
- receiving power monitoring information using the graphical user interface, the power monitoring information associated with power supplied to the first device and the second device, and displaying the power monitoring information using the graphical user interface;
- receiving fleet monitoring information using the graphical user interface, the fleet monitoring information associated with the first station, and displaying the fleet monitoring information using the graphical user interface;
- receiving a command signal from the second station, the command signal operable to control the second device;
- and
- controlling the second device in accordance to the command signal.
