A method of forming a solenoid comprising forming a plurality of stacked gapped circle windings, with each winding being rotated relative to any adjacent windings.
The method of 11 wherein a deposition system having a minimum deposition size is used to form the solenoid, and the width of the gap in each of the plurality of gapped circle windings is equal to the minimum deposition size.
