## Abstract

A shopping display and writing surface device, similar in nature to a clipboard, may be mounted on a shopping cart handle or the like. The device generally has a clamping device for connection to the shopping cart handle, a bracket connected to the clamping device and a panel connected to the bracket.

### Claim 1

An apparatus for mounting on a shopping cart, comprising:
a clamping device;
a bracket connected to the clamping device; and
a panel connected to the bracket.

The apparatus according to claim 1, further including a clip connected to the panel.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The apparatus according to claim 2, wherein the clip has a hinge.

### Claim 4 (depends on 2)

The apparatus according to claim 2, further including a lever rotatably connected to the hinge.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the panel has a planar upper surface.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the clamping device has a living hinge.

The apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the clamping device has a user-adjusting means of attachment.

The apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the user-adjusting means of attachment includes a layer of padding.
