A heat transfer plate for a plate heat exchanger comprising a number of ridges (210) and troughs (220) which have been pressed into the plate, the heat transfer portion of the plate having a plurality of juxtaposed rows (200) of said ridges (210) and troughs (220). The rows (200) of ridges (210) and troughs (220) are separated from each other by essentially plane channel portions (240). Each row (200) presents alternating elongated ridges (210) and elongated troughs (220) which extend along a main flow direction (F). The transition between each ridge (210) and an adjacent trough (220) in the same row (200) is formed by a transition portion (230) which is inclined relative to the central plane (P1) of the plate (1). The heat transfer plate is used in a plate pack for a plate heat exchanger.
A heat transfer plate (1) for a plate heat exchanger, comprising an inlet portion (A), an outlet portion (B) and a heat transfer portion (C) which is located between the inlet portion (A) and the outlet portion (B) and which presents a number of ridges (210) and troughs (220) pressed into the plate and extending between a geometric top plane (P2) and a geometric bottom plane (P3) of the plate (1), said planes being essentially parallel to the geometric central plane (P1) of the plate (1), characterised in
A heat transfer plate according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein each elongated ridge (210) is narrower in a central portion (211) thereof in such manner that the portion (211) of the ridge (210) coinciding with the top plane (P2) has an extension in the transverse direction (G) which is smaller in the central portion (211) of the length of the ridge (210) in relation to the extension in the end portions (212) of the ridge (210).
A heat transfer plate according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein each elongated trough (220) is narrower in a central portion (221) thereof in such manner that the portion (221) of the trough (220) coinciding with the bottom plane (P3) has an extension in the transverse direction (G) which is smaller in the central portion (221) of the length of the trough (220) in relation to the extension in the end portions (222) of the trough (220).
A heat transfer plate according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the ridges (210) and troughs (220) in one and the same row (200) have the same extension in the main flow direction (F).
A heat transfer plate according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the ridges (210) and troughs (220) located next to each other in the transverse direction (G) have the same extension in the main flow direction (F).
A heat transfer plate according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the rows (200) are arranged in such manner that they, along a first line in the transverse direction (G), each present a ridge (210) and, along a second line in the transverse direction (G), each present a trough (220).
A heat transfer plate according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein each channel portion (240) is stepwise divided into a number of essentially plane step portions (241, 242) which are arranged one after the other in the main flow direction (F) and displaced in relation to each other along a normal (N) to the central plane (P1) of the plate (1).
A plate pack comprising a plurality of heat transfer plates (1) which each comprise an inlet portion (A), an outlet portion (B) and a heat transfer portion (C) which is located between the inlet portion (A) and the outlet portion (B) and which presents a number of ridges (210) and troughs (220) pressed into the plate and extending between a geometric top plane (P2) and a geometric bottom plane (P3) of the plate (1), said planes being essentially parallel to the geometric central plane (P1) of the plate (1), a fluid being intended to flow in a number of the flow areas (110e) that are formed by the interspaces between the heat transfer plates (1) constituting the plate pack along a main flow direction (F) which extends between the inlet portion (A) and the outlet portion (B), characterised in
