Abstract
The invention relates to a curling element for styling hair and to a fixing element for a curling element. Hairstyling using the inventive curling elements is more flexible. The aim of the invention is also to provide a fixing element with which curling elements can be simply and reliably prevented from unrolling once they have been rolled up. To this end, the invention provides a curling element in accordance with claim no. 1, which provides that at least one ring-shaped notched section is made in the cylindrical base form. The bottom of the at least one notched section and the transitions between the ring-shaped notched section and the lateral surface of the cylinder are rounded off.
Claims14
A curling element for styling hair, said curling element (101;
- 301;
- 401;
- 1401) having at least essentially a cylindrical basic form (102;
- 302;
- 402;
- 1402), characterized in that at least one ring-shaped notch (103, 104;
- 303;
- 403;
- 1402) is formed in the cylindrical basic form (102;
- 302;
- 402;
- 1402), the bottom of the at least one ring-shaped notch (103, 104;
- 303;
- 403;
- 1402) and the transitions of the ring-shaped notch (103, 104;
- 303;
- 403;
- 1403) being rounded off in the cylindrical lateral surface (102;
- 302;
- 402;
- 1402).
A curling element for styling hair, said curling element (701, 901) having at least essentially a cylindrical basic form,
- characterized in that the radius of the cylindrical lateral surface is tapered towards one end (706, 906).
A curling element for styling hair, the curling element (1101, 1201) having at least essentially a cylindrical basic form,
- characterized in that the cylindrical basic form has provided therein a helical notch (1103, 1203) which is rounded in its bottom portion and in the transition to the cylindrical lateral surface.
A retaining element for a curling element,
- characterized in that the retaining element (1308) consists of a bendable wire which is provided on the curling element (1301) or passes through the curling element (1301), the wire projecting over the ends of the curling element (1301) by at least a few centimeters.
A retaining element for a curling element,
- characterized in that the retaining element (1501, 1601, 1602, 1603) comprises at least a member (1503) of an elastic material, said member (1503) being adapted to be fastened to the retaining element (1501, 1502) or the curling element (1505), or said member being held by the retaining element or the curling element such that said member (1503) in its relaxed state is positioned at least almost entirely inside the curling element (1502, 1505), the member (1503) being extensible by a tensile load from the curling element (1502, 1505), the member (1503) in the extended state being adapted to be fastened with its front end (1504) to the retaining element (1501, 1502) or to the curling element (1505), or the member being connectable to another part of the retaining element (1501).
