Juice extractor including cutter components for enhanced quality and yield performance and associated methods

A juice extractor comprising:

• a first cup comprising a first plurality of fingers extending outwardly and defining a first cup bore;
• a second cup comprising a second plurality of fingers extending outwardly and defining a second cup bore;
• said first and second cups being relatively movable along a reciprocal path of travel to compress fruit therebetween during juice extraction;
• a first cylindrical cutting blade within the first cup bore and in spaced relation from adjacent portions of said first plurality of fingers to define a peel clearance for ejecting portions of a fruit peel therethrough;
• and
• a second cylindrical cutting blade within the second cup bore and being received within said first cylindrical cutting blade during juice extraction;
• said first cylindrical cutting blade having an inner diameter in a range of about 0.997 to 1.003 inches, and a wall thickness in a range of about 0.075 to 0.081 inches;
• said second cylindrical cutting blade having an inner diameter in a range of about 0.878 to 0.884 inches and an outer diameter to be received within the inner diameter of said first cylindrical cutting blade.
