Abstract
A method of manufacturing metal spheres to prevent irregularities on the surface of the metal spheres. The method reduces the manufacturing time and makes it easy to manufacture extremely small diameter metal spheres.
Claims6
A method of manufacturing a metal sphere, comprising the steps of:
- dropping a piece of solid metal having a predetermined volume;
- melting said piece of solid metal while dropping it;
- and
- cooling and solidifying said dropped and melted piece of metal to obtain a metal sphere.
