Abstract
The machine included a rotor which is rotatably arranged about an axis of rotation with a superconducting winding in a winding carrier. In order to hold the winding carrier inside the outer housing of the rotor, a fixing device which extends axially on one-side only is provided on the torque-transmitting side of the rotor. The fixing device can be at least partially made of a fibre-reinforced plastic.
Claims7
A machine
- having a rotor which is mounted such that it can rotate about a rotation axis, and which
- a) has a hot rotor outer housing which is attached superconducting winding which surrounds a cold winding former and
- has a means for holding the winding former within the rotor outer housing, which means is formed at one end of the rotor in order to transmit a torque between the winding former and the associated rotor shaft part, as well as
- having a means for cooling and thermal insulation of the superconducting winding,
- characterized in that the holding means is formed on that end (AS) of the rotor (5) which transmits torque as a single-ended attachment apparatus (8), which extends in the axial direction, of the winding former (9) within the rotor outer housing (7).
The machine as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least a part of the axially extending attachment apparatus (8) is formed from a plastic material which is reinforced with fibers.
The machine as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the conductors of the superconduction winding (10) contain metallic low-Tc superconductor material or metal-oxide high-Tc superconductor material.
The machine as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a vacuum area (V) is provided between the rotor outer housing (7) and the winding former (9).
The machine as chaimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized by an arrangement with the rotation axis (A) of the rotor (5) aligned vertically.
