Abstract
A combined device designed for multiple purposes including: hauling and dumping, bagging lawn and garden debris, and simultaneously carrying gardening tools and supplies, comprising a wheelbarrow device (10) with a container means (11) that lifts from its rear and flips forward from a horizontal position to beyond vertical by means of an pivot point (EPP) elevated by supports or braces such that the combined device can remain level with the ground while it is being emptied and thereby the combined device can stably maintain a load of gardening tools and supplies.
Claims17
A lawn and garden device combining a wheelbarrow device with a gardening cart device comprising:
- a) a container means, as found in a wheelbarrow, for hauling or dumping debris or landscaping material
- b) a frame means, as found in a wheelbarrow, for supporting said container from underneath
- c) a wheel means, as found in a wheelbarrow or a gardening cart, connected to said frame means in a manner that renders said lawn and garden device mobile, wherein the improvement comprises:
- d) holding means attached to said frame means for carrying a plurality of lawn and gardening tools and supplies
- e) a fulcrum device connected to said container means by various attaching means in a manner that allows said container means to be pivoted over said fulcrum device for debris or other loose material from said container device to be directed into a means for disposing of debris
- f) and elevating means, or support means whereby said fulcrum device attaches by various attaching means to said frame means in a manner that permits said holding means, which are attached to said frame means, to remain stable and level with the ground while said container device is being emptied and as such that any lawn and gardening tools and supplies mounted on said holding means stay in place as the lawn and garden device is being emptied.
A lawn and garden device comprising:
- a) a container device for carrying, hauling, and dumping debris or loose landscaping materials
- b) a frame means and wheel means supporting said container in a manner that allow said container to be movably pushed around a yard as needed
- c) a pivoting means connecting said frame to said container device in a manner that permits said container device to be inclined from its bottom or rear section forward in an arching manner for emptying said container device of its contents
- d) tool holding means, for holding or carrying a variety of gardening tools and supplies, connected to said frame
- e) means for supporting said pivoting device in a manner that permits said container device to be inclined from the rear to be emptied while said frame, said wheel means, and said tool holding means remain stable and level with the ground.
