Article of manufacture for anchoring poles, tubing, or rods in sand, or other surface sediments

An Article of Manufacture for Anchoring Poles, Tubing or Rods in Surface Soil or Sediments, comprising:

• a set of broad flange augers of varying lengths and diameters;
• a sheath or guard over each auger as protection for personnel using them;
• a means for holding the guard or sheath in a protective position over the auger;
• a section or joint of strong metal pipe or tubing attached to the top of each auger, with a U shaped cranking cradle attached to the side of the section or joint;
• a means for turning the augers to achieve ground penetration;
• a set of strong metal rods or short lengths of tubing having an outsize metal ring at the top of each to slide into a cranking cradle and allow their use as cranking handles, and
• a means for attaching wooden or plastic poles or timbers to the metal pipe or tubing attached to the top of each auger after all of the augers have been set in the soil or surface sediments, as foundation elements for a temporary building or structure.
