A CDMA receiving device is provided. The receiving device comprises a receiving unit for receiving a spread signal; a despreading unit for despreading the received signal; an equalizing unit for equalizing the despread signal; and a spreading unit for spreading amplitude information and error information of the despread; wherein the spread amplitude information and error information are used as controlling signals in the equalizing unit.

1. Field of the Invention
The present invention generally relates to a CDMA receiving device and a CDMA receiving method, and especially relates to the devices and the methods in which CDMA received signals are equalized or interference compensated.
FIG. 1 is a block diagram of a conventional CDMA receiving device;
FIG. 2 is a block diagram of another conventional CDMA receiving device;
FIG. 3 is a block diagram of a demodulating part of a CDMA receiving device;
In the following, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
First, the principle of the present invention is explained. In an equalizer according to the present invention, the type or mode of a signal to be equalized and the types or modes of controlling signals such as amplitude information, error information and tap coefficients for controlling equalization are matched with each other in order to provide desired equalization.
FIG. 8 is a block diagram illustrating a first principle of the present invention. In this block diagram, a decoder or demodulator 31 is provided after an equalizer 30. In this case, when obtaining amplitude information, error information and tap coefficients from the decoded type or decoded mode, these parameters are supplied to a re-spreader 32, where these parameters are re-spread using spreading codes supplied from the demodulator 31 and then outputted to the equalizer 30. The re-spreading process should be performed in exactly matched timing, and therefore the types or modes of the amplitude information, error information and tap coefficients can be matched with the type or mode of the inputted signal to the equalizer 30.
