Systems and methods for managing security at plural physical locations

A system for managing implementation of personnel security at a plurality of physical locations, where such physical locations are associated with and maintained by different sponsor entities, the system comprising:

• a computer-based administrator system, where the computer-based administrator system is configured to be remotely accessible to users via a web interface, and where the computer-based administrator system is further configured to:
• receive data from the sponsor entities pertaining to particular vendor entities that are candidates for gaining physical access to the physical locations associated with the sponsor entities;
• receive data from the vendor entities so as to register the vendor entities with the computer-based administrator system;
• and
• initiate background checks of personnel associated with the vendor entities that are to have physical access to the physical locations of the sponsor entities.
