The invention relates to a device for receiving printing products (6, 7, 8, 9) in a transfer zone (37). Said device comprises at least one receiving element (1) that has a support element (2), a base element (3) and a bearing element (4), said support element (2) and base element (3) being able to support printing products (6, 7, 8, 9) laterally and from below and the bearing element (4) being able to receive printing products (6, 7, 8, 9) astride said element. According to the invention, a deflection element (5) is provided which can preferably deflect a printing product (6, 7, 8, 9) that is fed to the receiving element (1), in such a way that at least one part of the fed printing product (6, 7, 8, 9) is positioned on the side of the received printing products (6, 7, 8, 9) facing away from the support element (2).
A device for holding printed products (6, 7, 8, 9) in a transfer region (37), having at least one holding element (1), which has a supporting element (2), a base element (3) and a support (4), the supporting element (2) and the base element (3) being able to support printed products (6, 7, 8, 9) from the side or from below, and the support (4) being able to hold printed products (6, 7, 8, 9) astride, characterized by a deflection element (5) which is able to deflect a printed product (6, 7, 8, 9) fed to the holding element (1).
The device as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the deflection element (5) has a deflection surface (11) which runs at least approximately parallel to the support (4) and which is spaced apart from a contact plane defined by the supporting element (2).
The device as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the holding element (1) has a stop (16), by which at least printed products (6, 7, 8, 9) resting astride the support (4) are stopped during a movement in the direction of the support (4).
The device as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the deflection element (5) can be moved relative to the holding element (1), at least between a first position (A), in which it is able to deflect printed products (6, 7, 8, 9), and a second position (B), in which it is not able to deflect printed products (6, 7, 8, 9).
The device as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the deflection element (5) or the support (4) can be pivoted or displaced about an axis (23) running substantially at right angles to the supporting element (2).
The device as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the deflection element (5) has a holding arm (17, 22) and a flap (32) fixed thereto and having a deflection surface (11), the flap (32) being pivotable relative to the holding arm (17, 22) in such a way that the deflection element (5) can be lowered in the direction of the base element (3).
The device as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the deflection element (5) is connected to the holding element (1).
The device as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the holding element (1) can be pivoted about an axis (15) running substantially at right angles to the supporting element (2) in order to discharge held printed products (6, 7, 8, 9).
The use of a holding element (1) which has a supporting element (2), a base element (3) and a support (4), the supporting element (2) and the base element (3) being able to support printed products (6, 7, 8, 9) from the side or from below, and the support (4) being able to hold printed products (6, 7, 8, 9) astride, in a device as claimed in one of the preceding claims.
