Abstract
The invention relates to woven or knitted fabric and is characterised in that an electrostatic charge is generated by means of friction on the woven or knitted fabric. Said electrostatic charge improves the filtration properties of the fabric.
Claims16
Woven or loop-formingly knitted fabric characterized in that rubbing it generates an electrostatic charge which improves its filtration properties.
The woven or loop-formingly knitted fabric of any of claims 1 to 6, attached in front of window surfaces or door openings to guard against dusty allergens such as pollen.
A rechargeable electrostatic fabric filter with light and air transmitting openings, wherein the filter is formed by woven or loop formed threads which have the openings therebetween and which comprise a triboelectric material on which electrostatic charges can be provided by frictional engagement of the threads with a moving other material.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
