Abstract
A machine for making thermoplastic containers by drawing and blowing a preform including at least a drawing rod which is slidably controlled along its axis (An) by an actuator from a retracted position to a maximum drawing position to draw the preform during the blowing process. When the drawing rod returns toward its retracted position, the actuator is idle, the rod return being ensured by the blowing pressure prevailing inside the container being produced and acting on the working end of the rod.

Machine for manufacturing containers made of thermoplastic material by stretching and blow-molding a preform (10), of the type comprising at least a stretch rod (20) that is slidably controlled along its axis (An) by an actuator (34) from a retracted position to a maximum stretching position to ensure the stretching of the preform (10) during the blow-molding operation,
- characterized in that, during the return of the stretch rod (20) to its retracted position, the actuator (34) is at rest, the return of the rod (20) being ensured by the blow pressure that is inside the container being manufactured and which acts on the working end (46) of the rod (20).
Machine according to any one of the preceding claims characterized in that the actuator (34) is a fluid pressure cylinder.
Machine according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the actuator is single acting.
Machine according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that it includes auxiliary means for locking the rod (20) in the retracted position.
