Abstract
The invention concerns a method for separating and drying microparticles initially dispersed in liquid phase comprising steps which consist in: providing a preparation comprising microparticles dispersed or suspended in liquid phase in a filtering vessel (12) arranged inside a chamber (6); filtering a fraction of the liquid phase (52) through the vessel in the chamber, and varying the temperature and the pressure in the entire chamber to freeze-dry the filtered preparation in the vessel maintained in the chamber.
Claims16
A process for separating and drying microparticles initially dispersed in a liquid phase, characterized in that it comprises the steps consisting in:
- placing a preparation (48) comprising microparticles dispersed or suspended in a liquid phase in a filtration container (12) placed inside a chamber (6);
- filtering a fraction of the liquid phase (52) through the container in the chamber;
- and
- varying the temperature and the pressure throughout the chamber in order to freeze dry the filtered preparation in the container maintained in the chamber.
An apparatus (2) for separating and drying microparticles initially dispersed or suspended in a liquid phase, comprising a filtration container (12), a chamber (6) and means (34, 36, 38, 40) for modifying the temperature and the pressure throughout the chamber, characterized in that the filtration container (12) lies in the chamber (6).
