Abstract
The present invention of a self-destructive syringe includes a hollow needle barrel having a detachable structure disposed between a rubber head and a push rod located therein; a retaining ring is disposed in a proper distance at the front end inside the needle barrel; after the injection, the rubber head of the syringe stays fixedly on the retaining ring; then the push rod is pulled backwardly to separate from the rubber head to form self-destruction; furthermore, connecting tabs are disposed on two opposite areas on a bearing base such that the rod body makes the connecting tabs break via rotation or pulling after the injection thereby causing the rod body to destruct more completely so as to prevent any danger of reusing the syringe.
Claims3
A self-destructive syringe comprising:
- a hollow needle barrel with an adapter disposed at the front end thereof and a retaining ring disposed in a proper distance at the front end of a receiving slot therein;
- a needle base inserted on the adapter;
- a needle case cased on the needle barrel;
- a push rod structure includes at least a rubber head, a bearing base for fixedly connecting the rubber head and a rod body;
- wherein the rubber head has a hollow portion to connect with the bearing base;
- a retaining slot and a step ring are disposed at the center of the bearing base for penetrating a retaining portion at the front end of the rod body to form retaining state with the step ring;
- the entire push rod structure is received in the receiving slot of the hollow needle barrel;
- when the rubber head in the receiving slot makes piston-type movement to push the medicine fluid and press against the retaining ring, the rob body is further pushed forcefully to place the rubber head and the bearing base completely into the front end of the retaining ring to form a retaining state;
- at this time, pulling or pushing the rod body to detach the retaining portion from the step ring of the retaining slot of the bearing base allows the rubber head and the bearing base to fix at the front end of the retaining ring completely for self-destruction so as to prevent the second use of the hollow needle barrel.
