Novel solid body forms of mesoprogestin 11beta-{4e-(hydroxyiminomethyl)-phenyl}-17alpha methoxymethyl-17 beta-methoxy-estra-4,9-dien-3-one

Amorphous 11β-[4E-(hydroxyiminomethyl)phenyl]-17α-methoxymethyl-17β-methoxy-estra-4,9-dien-3 -one, wherein the modification is characterized by the IR spectrum that is depicted in FIG. 2.

Highly crystalline 11β-[4E-(hydroxyiminomethyl)phenyl]-17α-methoxymethyl-17β-methoxy-estra-4,9-dien-3-one ansolvate.

Crystalline solvates of 11β-[4E-(hydroxyiminomethyl)phenyl]-17α-methoxymethyl-17 β-methoxy-estra-4,9-dien-3-one, namely the methyl-tert-butyl ether solvate, whereby the crystalline form is characterized by the x-ray-powder diffractogram that is depicted in FIG. 4c (Table 2);

• the acetone solvate, whereby the crystalline form is characterized by the x-ray-powder diffractogram that is depicted in FIG. 4b (Table 2);
• and
• the ethanol solvate, whereby the crystalline form is characterized by the x-ray-powder diffractogram that is depicted in FIG. 4a (Table 2).
