Compositions comprising elastomers and high-molecular-weight polyethylenes with irregular particle shape, process for their preparation, and their use The compositions described comprise at least one elastomer matrix which has at least one other phase of particles of irregular shape of high- and/or ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyethylenes. The compositions have high tear propagation resistance and examples of their uses are membranes, gaskets, dampers, and conveyor belts.
