## Abstract

A tool for countersinking, deburring and spindling out holes is described, consisting of a blade holder driven rotationally about its longitudinal axis, in which, at an angle to its longitudinal axis, at least one recess is arranged, in which one or more cutting blades or their holders are held as exchangeably and/or displaceably load-transmitting. In order to guarantee better protection against tilting and breaking of the cutting blade out of the recess in the blade holder it is provided that the recess is formed from radii substantially blending into one another.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1, 2)

Tool according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the recess (2, 2′) and the basic body (12) of the at least one cutting blade (3) or its holder (4) located therein is constructed as mirror-symmetrical about its longitudinal extension (31) and/or about its transverse axis (41) or is constructed as point-symmetrical about its centre of gravity (S).

### Claim 4 (depends on 1, 2, 3)

Tool according to claim 1 or 2 or 3, characterised in that the recess (2, 2′) and the basic body (12) of the at least one cutting blade (3) or its holder (4) located therein has an approximately “8”—or horseshoe-shaped or bone-shaped or kidney-shaped or double-leaf-shaped or double-trochoidal-shaped or double-pentagonal-shaped form.

Tool according to one of claims 5 to 7, characterised in that the mid-points (17, 21) of the two larger radii (18, 22) are offset from one another by a horizontal (40, 35) and vertical offset (35, 40).

### Claim 9 (depends on 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8)

Tool according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that two polygons, arranged approximately symmetrical to one another and positioned opposite one another, of the recess (2, 2′) with circumference (18, 22) blend into one another and the transition area is formed by smaller, radii (19, 20), facing in opposite directions, and/or sharp edges (32) and/or straight lines (37).
