Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for testing a feature of a software application includes forming a feature call by incorporating test data into a data structure that is part of a test script and sending the feature call to the software application containing the feature for testing.

A computer-implemented method for testing a feature of a software application comprising:
- forming a feature call by incorporating test data into a data structure that is part of a test script;
- and
- sending the feature call to the software application containing the feature for testing.
A computer program product, tangibly embodied in an information carrier, for storing instructions, the computer program product being operable to cause data processing apparatus to:
- form a feature call by incorporating test data into a data structure that is part of a test script;
- and
- send the feature call to a software application containing a feature for testing.
