Abstract
A device, a method and a computer program to model and report an anatomic structure, for example for coronary angiography is provided. The graphical editor models and reports the morphology/topology of the coronary anatomy with its clinical relevant items, i.e. grafts, stents, stenosis/occlusion and turtuosity. From the model different presentations (views) with adjustable display attribute settings, like scale and shape of the arteries can be constructed.
Claims9
A device (1) for describing and evaluating a three-dimensional anatomical structure, the device comprising an input means (2) to input said structure, an output means (3;
- 4) to output a simplified two-dimensional image (5) of said structure based on a pre-stored image template, said device being arranged to graphically supplement said image with individualized details (7), the device (1) being further arranged to carry out an automated assignment of the details (7) to the anatomical structure.
A method for describing an three-dimensional anatomical structure, comprising the steps of:
- performing an input of individual examination data by means of input means into a device for processing the data,
- performing an output of a simplified two-dimensional image based on said data and a template by means of output means,
- supplementing the simplified two-dimensional image by individualized graphic details,
- carrying out an automated assignment of the details relative to said simplified two-dimensional image.
A computer program for describing and evaluating a three-dimensional anatomical structure, said program being operable via an input means, results of the computer program being presented via an output means, wherein the computer program is arranged to output a simplified two-dimensional image of the three-dimensional anatomical structure on the output means, said image being constructed from a template by means of modeling, said image being supplemented by individualized details, the computer program being further arranged to carry out an automated assignment of said details to said image.
