A local coil arrangement for a magnetic resonance system comprising:
- a retainer structure having a waistband;
- an antenna arrangement carried by said retainer structure, said antenna arrangement including a perineum element having a middle section;
- and
- said retainer structure being adapted to be donned by an examination subject like trousers to bring said middle section of said perineum element adjacent the perineum of the subject.
