Abstract
An alternating current responsive composite is disclosed. The composite includes a polymeric material and a polar material that is substantially dispersed within the polymeric material. The polar material is responsive to the presence of an alternating current.
Claims13
An alternating current responsive composite comprising a polymeric material and a polar material that is substantially dispersed within said polymeric material, said polar material being responsive to the presence of an alternating current.
A water insensitive alternating current responsive composite comprising an adhesive and a salt that is substantially dispersed within said adhesive, said salt being responsive to the presence of an alternating current to provide a capacitive coupling from one side of said adhesive to another side of said adhesive.
A water insensitive alternating current responsive composite comprising an adhesive and an organo salt that is substantially dispersed within said adhesive, said organo salt being responsive to the presence of an alternating current to provide a capacitive coupling from one side of said adhesive to another side of said adhesive of signal having a frequency of below about 1000 Hz.
