Abstract
A dispenser for flowable media is provided, which operates in user-independent manner with respect to the pressure buildup and dosage quantity. On pressing on an operating head (35) a piston rod (29) is forced into a pump cylinder. As the pump chamber (52) is sealed by means of a delivery valve (51), which operates in path-dependent manner as a slide valve, under the action of a spring (42) pressing on the piston collar (43), a pressure builds up in the pump chamber (52), which is released following a predetermined length of travel on opening the delivery valve. A relatively constant pressure can be obtained over the entire discharge phase through the pretension of spring (42).
Claims13
Dispenser for discharge of flowable media (59) comprising a pump (12), having a pump cylinder (20), a piston (28) with a piston rod (29) being operable in an operating direction (60) and having a delivery piston element (43), a pump inlet with an intake valve (24) and a pump outlet (33) including a delivery valve (51) and an outlet channel (33), the delivery piston element (43) being loaded in the operating direction (60) by a spring element (42) supported on the piston rod (29), the spring element being tensioned by the movement of the piston rod (29) in the operating direction (60) effecting, after opening of the delivery valve (51), the media discharge (62) by action of the delivery piston element (43).
Dispenser according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the delivery valve (51) is a path-controlled valve.
Dispenser for discharge of flowable media (59) comprising a pump (12), having a pump cylinder (20), a piston (28) with a piston rod (29) being operable in an operating direction (60) and having a delivery piston element (43), a pump inlet with an intake valve (24) and a pump outlet (33) including a delivery valve (51) and an outlet channel (33), the delivery piston element (43) being loaded in the operating direction (60) by a spring element (42) supported on the piston rod (29), the spring element being tensioned by the movement of the piston rod (29) in the operating direction (60) effecting, after opening of the delivery valve (51), the media discharge (62) by action of the delivery piston element (43);
- the delivery piston element (43) is an annular piston collar, which is sealingly guided on the piston rod (29) and in the pump cylinder (20);
- the piston (28) being loaded counter to the operating direction (60) by a return spring element (48);
- and on the piston rod (29) a sealing surface of a ventilation valve (39) for a medium-containing container (14) being provided, which cooperates with a casing surface (40), an opening (41) in the pump cylinder (20) providing a connection for the outside air, via the ventilation valve (39), to the container (14).
