Breast cup construction

An article of clothing which is a brassiere or includes a brassiere and includes two breast receivable cups located on either side of an central region of said brassiere each supported vertically by an over the shoulder strap, each said cup comprising

• a lower most cup panel of a flexible martial having an upper joining edge of a predetermined curvature, and
• an intermediate cup panel of a flexible material having a upper joining edge of a predetermined curvature and a lower joining edge secured to said upper joining edge of sad lower most cup panel, and
• an upper cup panel of a flexible material having a lower joining edge secured to said upper joining edge of said intermediate cup panel,
• wherein said lower joining edge of said intermediate panel is of a length to be co-terminus with the upper joining edge of said lower most panel,
• and wherein said lower joining edge of said upper panel is of a length to bc co-terminus with the upper joining edge of said intermediate panel,
• said lower most, intermediate and upper cup panels joined to each other to form a predefined cup shape which includes (a) an inner region of and at the perimeter of said predefined cup shape and (b) an outer continuously curved perimeter line which extends from said inner region below said predefined cup shape to an upper thus where au over the shoulder support strap is engaged thereto,
• wherein the scam (herein after “said first seam”) formed by said joining edges of said lower panel with said intermediate panel has a first distal end at the inner region of said predefined cup shape and extends to its other distal end at said outer continuous and curved perimeter line of said predefined cup shape without said first seam dipping significantly varying vertically from a horizontal through avid first distal end of said first seam,
• and wherein the seam (herein after “said second seam”) formed by said joining edges of said intermediate panel with said upper panel has a first distal end at or proximate to said first distal end of said first seam and extends to its other distal end at the outer continuously curved perimeter line which is vertically higher than said first distal end thereof.

A breast cup of a predefined cup shape and formed from at least one panel of a flexible material said breast cup including an inner region and outer continuously curved perimeter line, said breast cup comprising

• a lower most cup region and an intermediate cup region and an upper cup region defined by said at least one panel, said lower most cup region juxtaposed to a side of said intermediate cup region and said intermediate cup region also juxtaposed to V side of said upper cup region opposite to the side of which said lower most cup region is provided
• wherein a first lie of stitching extends between said lower most and said intermediate cup region and a second line of stitching extends between said intermediate and said upper cup region
• wherein the first line of stitching starts at a first point at the inner region of said cup and extends therefrom to its other distal end at said outer continuously curved perimeter line of said cup without said line of stitching varying significantly vertically firm the horizontal through said first point,
• and wherein the second line of stitching starts at or proximate to said fist point of said fist line of stitching and extends away therefrom to provide its other distal end at the outer continuously curved perimeter line of said cup, vertically higher than said first point.
