Abstract
A polymerizable composition comprising a polymerization initiator (A) represented by the formula (1) and a radical-polymerizable compound (B): Formula (1) 1 (wherein R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 are each independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl, alkoxyl, hydroxyl or acyloxy group, a halogen atom, or —NR10R11, but at least one of them is —NR10R11; wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R10 and R11 are each independently a hydrogen atom, or an alkyl or aryl group; and Z− is an arbitrary anion).
Claims5
(amended) a polymerizable composition, comprising a self-sensitizing type polymerization initiator (A) and a radical-polymerizable compound (B), the polymerization initiator (A) being capable of directly absorbing ultraviolet rays to substantially initiate polymerization and represented by the formula (1):
- 43
- (wherein R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 are each independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl, alkoxyl, hydroxyl or acyloxy group, a halogen atom, or —NR 10R11, but at least one of them is —NR10R11;
- wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R10 and R11 are each independently a hydrogen atom, or an alkyl or aryl group;
- and Z− is an arbitrary anion).
(Amended) A process for producing a polymer, comprising the steps of:
- preparing a polymerizable composition which comprises a self-sensitizing type polymerization initiator (A) and a radical-polymerizable compound (B), said polymerization initiator (A) being capable of directly absorbing ultraviolet rays to substantially initiate polymerization and represented by the formula (1):
- 45
- (wherein R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 are each independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl, alkoxyl, hydroxyl or acyloxy group, a halogen atom, or —NR10R11, but at least one of them is —NR10R11;
- wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R10 and R11 are each independently a hydrogen atom, or an alkyl or aryl group;
- and Z− is an arbitrary anion) and;
- irradiating said polymerizable composition with the ultraviolet rays.
