Abstract

The invention relates to the nucleic acid of novel human Gβ1-related gene variant (Gβ1V) and the polypeptide encoded thereby. The invention also provides a process for producing the polypeptide encoded by the Gβ1V. The invention further provides the uses of the nucleic acid of the Gβ1V and the polypeptide encoded thereby in diagnosing diseases associated with the deficiency of human Gβ1 gene, in particular, lung cancers.
