Abstract
A multi-layer article includes a first polymer layer, a substrate, and a bonding layer on a surface of the first polymer layer and in contact with the substrate.
Claims26
A multi-layer article comprising:
- a first polymer layer comprising a fluoropolymer;
- a substrate;
- and
- a bonding layer on a surface of the first polymer layer and in contact with the substrate, the bonding layer comprising a fluoroelastomer, wherein the fluoroelastomer comprises a monomer segment derived from an olefinic hydrocarbon.
1 more element
A process for preparing a multi-layer article comprising:
- providing a first polymer layer comprising a fluoropolymer;
- providing a substrate;
- providing a bonding layer on a surface of the first polymer layer and in contact with the substrate, the bonding layer including a fluoroelastomer;
- and
- heating the first polymer layer, and the bonding layer.
2 more elements
A multi-layer article comprising
- a first polymer layer comprising a fluoropolymer, said first polymer layer having a first and a second surface;
- a bonding layer comprising a fluoroelastomer contacting a first surface of the first polymer layer, wherein the fluoropolymer comprises a monomer segment derived from an olefinic hydrocarbon;
- and
- optionally a substrate contacting a second surface of the first polymer layer.
1 more element
A multi-layer article comprising
- a substrate having a first surface;
- and
- a bonding composition comprising a fluoroelastomer in contact with said first surface, wherein the bonding composition further comprises an adhesion promoter selected from the group consisting of an aldimine silane and a ketimine silane.
A multi-layer article according to claim 30, wherein the fluoroelastomer is a copolymer including an olefinic hydrocarbon.
