The present invention relates to a catalyst composition of an activator, a support, a catalyst compound and an ionizing activator and its use in a process for polymerizing olefin(s). The invention is also directed to a method for making the catalyst composition above.

A method for preparing a catalyst composition comprising the steps of contacting an activator, a support, a bulky ligand metallocene catalyst compound, and an ionizing activator in a diluent having a flash point of greater than 200° F.
An activated olefin polymerization catalyst composition comprising an activator, a support, a bulky ligand metallocene catalyst compound, an ionizing activator formed in a diluent having a flash point of greater than 200° F.
