Abstract
A top for a convertible vehicle having a vehicle body. The top includes a roof part held movably on the vehicle body and moveable from a closed state to an open state, a rear window element having a side, and a pillar element disposed on the roof part and disposed at the side of the rear window element in the closed state of the roof part. The pillar element is inwardly pivotable relative to the roof part toward a center of the vehicle.

A top for a convertible vehicle having a vehicle body, comprising:
- a roof part held movably on the vehicle body and moveable from a closed state to an open state;
- a rear window element having a side;
- and
- a pillar element disposed on the roof part and disposed at the side of the rear window element in the closed state of the roof part, the pillar element being inwardly pivotable relative to the roof part toward a center of the vehicle.
