Abstract
The invention provides tumor-specific human monoclonal antibodies and functional fragments. Also provided are nucleic acids encoding tumor-specific human monoclonal antibodies and functional fragments. A method for reducing neoplastic cell proliferation is also provided. The method consists of administering an effective amount of a tumor-specific human monoclonal antibody or functional fragment. Also provided is a method of detecting a neoplastic cell in a sample. The method consists of contacting a cell with a tumor-specific monoclonal antibody or functional fragment and detecting the specific binding of the human monoclonal antibody or functional fragment to the sample.
Claims16
An isolated human monoclonal antibody or functional fragment thereof, comprising a complementary determining region having substantially the amino acid sequence of a CDR selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs:
- 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42 and 44, wherein said human monoclonal antibody or functional fragment thereof specifically binds a neoplastic cell or antigen thereof.
An isolated CDR or functional fragment thereof, comprising substantially the amino acid sequence of a CDR selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs:
- 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42 and 44 wherein said CDR or functional fragment thereof specifically binds a neoplastic cell or antigen thereof.
An isolated nucleic acid, encoding a human monoclonal antibody or functional fragment thereof, comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding substantially the amino acid sequence of a CDR encoded by a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs:
- 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 33, 35, 37, 39, 41, 43 and 45.
An isolated nucleic acid encoding a CDR or functional fragment thereof, comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding substantially the amino acid sequence of a CDR encoded by a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs:
- 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31, 33, 35, 37, 39, 41, 43 and 45.
