Abstract
The present invention provides hair care compositions comprising at least 10% of one or more polydialkylsiloxanes each having at least one pendant alkyl moiety, methods of using the compositions to reduce the loss of color in the hair, methods of using the compositions to reduce the effects of oxidation on the hair, and methods of using the compositions to add volume to the hair.

A hair care composition comprising at least 10% by weight with respect to the total weight of the composition of at least one polydialkylsiloxane each having at least one pendant alkyl moiety, said polydialkylsiloxane having a vapor pressure vapor pressure of at least 0.8 mmHg. at 25° C.
The hair care composition of claim 16, wherein R is hydrogen.
A hair care composition comprising at least 10% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition of a C3 to C25 alkyl methicone.
