- a display panel having a backcover, the backcover comprising a panel bay.
A portable computer system, comprising:
- a base;
- a display panel pivotably connected to the base, the display panel having a backcover with a multiport panel bay having a plurality of spaced retention features to receive a multiport device module.
A method of promoting the adaptability of a portable computer, comprising:
- forming a panel bay on a backcover of a portable computer;
- and
- selectively coupling a communications module to the panel bay.
A system of promoting the adaptability of a portable computer, comprising:
- means for forming a panel bay on a backcover of a portable computer;
- and
- means for selectively coupling a communications module to the panel bay.
